Cristina Gomez is the Founder &
Managing Director of Advantage Personnel Inc. established in 1988 as
a staffing firm dedicated to serving Silicon Valley's
entrepreneurial companies. Prior to founding Advantage, upon
arriving from her native country of Argentina in 1984, Cristina was
hired at a major International Recruiting firm and received Top
National Staffing specialist awards for two consecutive years and a
promotion to National Corporate Trainer, traveling around the
country teaching the principals of how to develop excellence in
customer service. She has also been recognized as
a pioneer
in developing the Social Styles Interviewing Module. She is a
frequent guest speaker and trainer for staffing services, trade
associations and both profit and non-profit organizations. She will
be a speaker at the
National PBWC convention at the Moscone
Center on May 3rd, 2005 and at the
Women in Business Conference on May
7th, 2005..
Cristina's
deep
understanding of how to lead and develop people in an
entrepreneurial environment has given her the edge in successfully
staffing Silicon Valley’s small and mid - sized companies. She
has a passion for training in this area and helps people, especially
in the corporate world to perform to their potential in a harmonious
and productive environment. Cristina has also guided managers
to obtain maximum performance from their employees by
communicating in their preferred social style. The result is
increased retention, employees that are loyal and more engaged with
their employer and a positive work environment.
Cristina holds a Bachelor Degree in
English/Spanish Culture from the University of Law in Buenos Aires,
Argentina and serves on the Membership Board of SVASE, Silicon
Valley Association of Startups & Entrepreneurs.
