Our client is an International Japanese based corporation that has manufactured various electronic components since its’ foundation in 1948 and supplies five core businesses for Components, Magnetic Devices, Communications, Peripheral Products and Automotive Electronics.
The San Jose division is comprised of 100 employees specializing in the area of distribution, sales and customer service of Optical Devices, Electronic Components and printer supplies.

The ideal candidate will have a solid background in the following areas:

  • Compensation analysis, research and implementation of job classifications, incentive programs, bonus structure, salary surveys
  • Training and organizational development for Customer Service and Sales Division, multicultural training, legal compliance
  • Five years of strong generalist background with emphasis in employee relations, policy and procedures, new hire orientation
  • Japanese company environment a plus
  • Immigration experience is a plus
  • Two years as an HR Manager
  • Five years of experience as a generalist
  • A related degree is desirable
